 | Normally, I am Me. But in this Place, Let me be. | Sep 15, 2008 |
Time is a straight line. Every second, minutes and hours will never go back. . . So spend it wisely for one day when we all look back, what matters is how we are remembered... Life is music and poetry in motion... Your Heart and Mind, is the space we fill with time... So just close your eyes, and lose yourself... Limits, like fears, are often just an illusion Visit my Facebook account: Angelo Deveraturda | Create Your Badge You hear me so clearly And see how I try You feel me So heal me And tear me apart
And I won't tell a soul I won't tell at all Do they have to know About my Goodnight Girl
Caught up in your wishin' well Your hopes inside it Take you love and promises And make them last You make them last...
You keep me so near you And see me so far And hold me and send me And deep in your heart
And I won't tell a soul I won't tell at all Do they have to know About my Goodnight Girl Caught up in your wishin' well Your hopes inside it Take you love and promises And make them last You make them last...
It doesn't matter how sad I made you Doesn't matter how hard I try Just remember the same Old reason Reflected in your eyes You said you wanted me
Caught up in your wishin' well Your hopes inside it Take you love and promises And make them last You make them last...

As you can see there's nothing new.
I've been stuck running in circles for the past few months now. I'm at the point where I wake up each morning wishing it was still last night... so I didn't have to drag my ass to my prison cell a.k.a. the office.
A prison where they are keeping you blind and making you feel that you are not part of any of their plans, but they want you to work hard.
It's like saying "I don't care about you or your feelings, or anything about you, now go out there and work like you've never worked before!".
You see, we're humans, we have feelings. We have this need to be recognized in our own way, our own means.
But hey, when money talks, everybody falls silent. Some will fight, Some will succumb to what they think is inevitable.
And when you've finally decided how to move forward, they'll change your course.
Now, it's up to you if you're willing to follow your own lead or change your course.
In this life, it's all about guts... Something I have but when it's life changing, it keeps me from trying. As long as I have a security blanket, I will never go from here to there. As long as I don't kick myself in the gut...I will never grow..
But just a little more. it's growing.
One of these days, you will find a better person.
And you don't have to wait long.
| | I was invited to shoot officially of Ms. Ilocos Norte 2010 held in Laoag City.
There are too many shots and I randomly selected these shots to post. |

| |
A very picturesque place, where it seems like everytime you shoot in black & white or sepia will look like it's fresh from Jose Rizal's prime. Also famous for their longganisa and bagnet. |

| |
One of the oldest churches in the Philippines, found in the town of Paoay, Ilocos Norte. |

| |
This is like a dream come true, because I've wanted to go here for the longest time. So when I got to the Windmill Farm of Bangui, Ilocos Norte, I made the most out of it. |

I don't.
So I used a Long Lens for this. 70-300mm. |

I Took Less Shots to enjoy the Trip.
My First Trip to the Land of Smiles.
The Rumors are true, even if your a guy, it really is fun to shop in Bangkok.
My Second Out of the Country Trip in 2 Weeks.
Though I was low on budget and will suffer for the rest of the year, while my job is hanging on a balance...
I will cherish this trip for this is my first out of the country with my Mom. |
I've always believed that time is a straight line, and the Days we put in the Calendar are just markers to know how far we've gone. So therefore in my eyes, Age doesn't exist. Three Hundred and Sixty Five Days ago, I've decided to put up this site on Multiply, A personal space where I can be myself, and for the main reason... Let my creative juices flowing. For the benefit of those who doesn't know me personally, and for those who know me and needs to be reminded, I am a man so full of insights and ideas. Sometimes bright. Sometimes stupid. But most of the time I am just a simple being who is passionate and feels his surroundings.
And Sometimes it's hard to find someone who will listen. And it's even harder if sometimes you want to say something stupid, but is real. Because most people have been so used to going with the flow, they don't even have an identity anymore, they don't even know how to live anymore, they don't know how to express how they really feel anymore, they don't know how to say "yes" or "no" in a certain situation because it's all been just stereotypical. Most people go for the stereotype. I don't. My Ears are for Music, My Eyes for Photography, and My Heart is what makes me feel, and let me become who I am today. I am writing this not only because of this pages anniversary, but also to remind myself who I am. As I watch my Music take a back seat, and my Photography rally... I want to bring balance, and light up the fire inside me again. It's been a dream ever since to become a Musical Artist. I have been writing songs for more than a decade now. I have been singing for almost as early as I can remember. I play the Piano. I play the Guitars. I sing with my Heart. Photography is food for my soul. It also gives me the power to stop time... time that had past and will never go back. and most importantly,,, It gives you my eyes for you to see, how beautiful the world is and you are, in my view. Writing is my way of sharing what's inside my head, be it through blogging or through my lyrics, there's always something inside what I say, that if you look closer, you'll find a deeper meaning, so I challenge you to exercise your mind. So I need you to bear with me. For those who doesn't like me, before you hate me, try hard to love me, then ask. For those who stayed with me, thank you. One bit of advice for those who are stereotypical: Break the Silence, be the Difference. and... Just Close your Eyes and Lose Yourself... I will.
| | Famous for it's Buddha-face-filled structures, Bayon, like Angkor Wat & The Forest Temple, was built as a Tribute to the Buddha. |

| | One of the temples inside Angkor Thom, built by King Jayavarman VII as a place to worship The Buddha.

Location : Siem Reap, Cambodia |

| | Day 05 :
We should wake up early at around 5am to see the Angkor Wat sunrise.. but sadly, nobody did but Me and Joan.
I went down the hotel to meet the hotel attendant and our tour guide : Cheak (Chuck)
He was already there as early as 5am, well the girls came down at around 7am. I didn't mind because Cheak said we won't be able to see the sunrise anyway because of the rain, it was raining very hard early in the morning and I thought it will be raining all day, but then I prayed.. and well as always, it worked! god gave us Sun that day, it was very sunny... and he was too generous, at noon, he made it even more sunny! hahaha but I love him! when you ask be prepared to receive, so I received all the sunlight he gave me and I am darker than I used to be...hahaha
Angkor Thom : A place where lots of temples are including the ever famous "Bayon" where you can see Buddhas Face everywhere.
Angkor Wat : The Largest Temple of Worship dedicated to the Enlightened One-The Buddha

| | Day 04:
We spent almost half the day sleeping, and the other half traveling via Cha's Van courtesy of our Driver and My New Boyfriend Van!
It was a 7 hour trip to Siem Reap, and I'm sure boyzone were tired of singing because their CD was the only one that can be played by the CD player in the van. We didn't listen to the radio because we can't understand anything.
We arrived at Siem Reap at around 6pm and still in time to catch some sunset at the Angkor Wat... sadly it was cloudy and the sun sets at the front of the temple so it wasnt visible... but I still managed to get some shots of the dimly lit temple.
After that we checked in at our very very nice hotel considering the price we paid! I was shocked that Siem Reap was a very tourist friendly place, its vibe was like Boracay at night because it has so many restaurants and places to stay in. I enjoyed the place, and it's the first time in the whole tour that I felt I was in another Country. |
